Attachements not working

Can someone provide some help please.
I'm having the trouble with uploading attachments on my forum.
Everytime I try to upload an attachement with a post, the post is there but the attachment is nowhere to find.
I don't get an error, it just doesn't upload the file

Below are some of my settings.

I'm hosting my own so I have full control of all settings.
Using YaBB SE 1.5.1.
PHP and MySql are the most current
Apache webserver.
Uploads are enabled, max size 5 mb in PHP.INI
Directory= /var/www/html/[VirtualHost]/yabbse/attachments/
Refering URL= http://[MyDomain]/yabbse/attachements/
I tried both of them with and without end slash.
Referring directories are chmodded to 777
Uploads posted as picture in post is checked.
valid extentions are jpg, jpeg, ...
File to upload is image.jpg and is 200Kb
Maximum upload is 2MB in the MOD Settings

Can somebody give some guidelines in how to solve this please.

Directory= /var/www/html/[VirtualHost]/yabbse/attachments/
try without a slash at the end:
path= /var/www/html/[VirtualHost]/yabbse/attachments

Allready tried it, stilll not working.

when u upload an image/txt file, can u see it inside the attachment directory?
can u give a link to your site for testing?

The problem has been fixed.

There was a small piece I needed to ad in the /sources/post.php file which I previously had to took out becouse I was getting a "session timeout " with every post.
Upon restoring this line it worked like a charme. (without the end slash )
